Legal assistant/paralegal The candidate will include: meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, assisting with discovery, interviewing witnesses, completing judicial counsel forms. Organize, index and file legal and administrative documents and maintain databases, firm calendars, administrative files and other records. Provide word processor and other document production services, and Interact with all levels of the company, including management, outside and opposing counsel and vendors. Must have professional demeanor and be able to work well independently. Will work on a variety of assignments that may be confidential in nature. File documents online and be overall office coordinator. The candidate must have strong work ethic and reliability. Must be detail oriented with strong drafting and negotiating skills and the ability to communicate legal subject matter to non-attorneys. Must have ability to manage work flow independently to meet firm deadlines while achieving business and risk management objectives.
