Trademark / Litigation Attorney The candidate will be responsible for a mix of trademark and litigation work within a sophisticated IP practice. Work includes: clearance and prosecution matters; documents related to US and foreign trademark prosecution; opinions (fair use, infringement, validity); and due diligence. Should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of the State Bar Association in the state where practicing, and eligible for admission to the Texas Bar. Must have 2-3 years of trademark prosecution experience. Strong academics are required. Excellent writing/drafting, communication and organizational skills are needed. USPTO registration is a plus. Should have well-developed skills in US and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution and enforcement. Experience with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy, IP transactions, as well as handling copyright-related issues and registration is strongly preferred.
