Family Law Paralegal The candidate must have 5+ years of recent Family Law Paralegal experience and will manage the discovery process as well as prepare cases for depositions, mediations and trials. Will prepare legal documents, filings, and/or general correspondence with accuracy and adhere to the formatting guidelines. Requires that the Family Law Paralegal be extremely detail-oriented, organized, critical about accuracy, spelling and grammar and possess the ability to prioritize and follow up. Preform Legal Research. Draft Documents. Calendar appointments and deadlines. Manage and organize client files as well as keep client database and document management system up to date. Maintaining billable hour requirement. Drafting settlement proposals, pleadings, discovery requests, requests for order, and trial briefs. Experience with Family law practice areas including dissolutions, relationship agreements, custody/visitation issues, support disputes, and property division is required.
