Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will review and analyze real estate records, surveys, title insurance binders and policies for completeness and clear title; draft and file documents to correct title deficiencies. Draft contracts, amendments, and related real estate and loan transaction documents. Prepare commercial and residential real estate closing documents including notes, deeds of trust, borrower's agreements, and warranty deeds Coordinate closing with real estate agents, buyers, sellers, mortgage lenders, title companies and banks. Prepare closing binders of transactions. Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree. A degree or paralegal certificate is helpful. Must have 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and time management skills, as well as attention to detail, is essential. Proficiency in MS Office is needed. The ability to multi-task is essential.
