Legal Assistant / Junior Paralegal The candidate duties will include: Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, notices and subpoenas; Manage electronic (ECF) filing process for attorneys; Conduct various document searches and factual research using Westlaw; Assist with preparations for hearings, mediations and trials; Index and maintain files that are organized chronologically, numerically and/or by subject matter; Collect, organize, analyze and summarize medical records; Organize and prepare exhibits, files and all other supporting documents for trial; Work in Relativity, Concordance or other databases; Schedule and prepare for depositions as needed. Must have experience in litigation and administrative related work. Should have paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal program with 1-3 years of experience. Superior technology skills must demonstrate proficiency in MAC, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
