Labor & Employment Attorney The candidate will conduct legal research, analysis and drafting of complex memoranda, motions and briefs related to labor and employment matters. Assist with federal and state employment-related court litigation and handle federal and state administrative agency litigation that includes administrative hearings in front of the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division and the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Provide day-to-day counseling on compliance with state and federal fair employment laws with respect to personnel policies, compensation practices, internal complaints and investigation and other workforce matters. Provide support on employment matters related to corporate business transaction, including due diligence, purchase agreement drafting, pre and post-acquisition employee transitions and related employment agreements. Draft employment-related contracts, including Confidentiality Agreements, Restrictive Covenant Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements, and Employment Agreements. Assist with representation of clients in labor law compliance and litigation, including the National Labor Relation Act, collective bargaining, arbitration, grievances, union avoidance, union organizing campaigns and unfair labor practice charges. Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to provide high quality service to our clients. Perform other related duties as assigned. J.D. from ABA accredited law school is required. Should preferably have 3+ years of experience as an associate at a leading law firm. Should be admitted to practice or eligible for admission to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
