Supervisor Of Paralegal Services The candidate will work closely with the Director of Paralegals in all aspects of supervising the Firmwide Paralegal Department. This includes the coordination of assignments, day-to-day staffing requests and managing resources. Coordinate assignments and staffing across practice areas/offices to improve utilization and manage resources. Assist with day-to-day staffing requests and supervision of paralegals to ensure timely completion of all tasks. Communicate with internal client base and manage expectations with regard to assignments and time frames. Track daily attendance of paralegals to ensure proper coverage and compliance. Oversee weekly paralegal timesheets and overtime requests for accuracy and timelines. Monitor weekly DTE entries to ensure compliance with submission deadlines. Schedule and oversee weekend on-call paralegal program across departments. Promote efficient utilization of paralegals and identify areas for improvement. Assist with review of monthly departmental reports including headcount, staffing, productivity, P/L, invoices. Oversee paralegal vacation schedules and holiday coverage. Review and process incoming paralegal applicant resumes, including scheduling interviews and soliciting feedback. Assist with yearly Project Assistant orientation program, including coordinating schedules, travel, content and training. Facilitate new hire onboarding, office assignments, and orientation. Assist with paralegal training programs to ensure training aligns to the Firms needs and paralegal professional development. Assist with annual and mid-year performance review process, including soliciting and compiling written evaluations. Coordinate departments requirements with IT, Payroll, Finance, HR, Operations and Office Administrators. Assist with budget preparation, monitor paralegal expenses and report variances. Manage conference room setups and AV coordination across offices including department meetings, interviews, and trainings. Assist with out-of-town trial logistics, war room set ups, consultants and supplies for trial teams. Manage staff attorney contract process including intake and renewals. Must have Bachelors Degree with 3+ years of related supervisory experience, preferably in a large law firm.
