Corporate / Real Estate Paralegal Duties: Prepare of real estate closing documents. Perform real estate title and lien searches. Managing communication, internal and external. Plan and coordinate meetings and appointments; keep track of multiple calendars. Compose and edit correspondence, presentations and other documents. Up-to-date with advancements in office equipment and technical applications. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate is preferred. 3+ years of experience with corporate and commercial real estate matters including issuance of commercial title insurance policies and related title insurance underwriting. Must have prior experience in the corporate/transactional area and be very familiar with corporate entity searches, drafting and filing documents for corporate formations, certificates of limited partnership, SEC filings, UCC procedures, and corporate minute books. Requires excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills. The team player we seek must possess extensive working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and Adobe Pro. The successful candidate must also possess the ability to learn and utilize new technology. Other requirements include proficiency in English and a high level of attention to detail. Must also have the ability to handle multiple tasks and become an integral part of client service. Ability to work well individually or as part of a team. Maintaining a positive, cooperative attitude are of equal importance to our environment. Professionalism, maturity and flexibility are a must. Experience working in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe. Familiarity with basic corporate structures, corporate filings, and agreements. Exemplary planning and time management skills. Ability to draft memos, letters and documents pertaining to entity formation, mergers, and resolutions, as well as coordination of corporate minute books and registered agent matters and preparation and submission of filings with Secretaries of State and County recorders. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Demonstrate good judgment and decision making capabilities. A high level of initiative and self-motivation. Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily. Innovative thinking - must be able to anticipate needs to successfully manage demands.
