Legal Secretary Duties: Assists attorneys with all aspects of administrative functions. Manage calendar and arrange schedule (set up meetings, conference calls, travel, speaking engagements). Document production. Telephone answering and accurate message taking. Time ticket entries. Photocopying and filing. Providing back-up support to peer secretaries. Billing. Notarize documents, if applicable. Provide support to other departments; Reception, Marketing, Conference Center, etc. Flexibility to work overtime. Performs other duties as they arise. Requirements: 5 years' experience in a law firm or corporate environment. Extensive litigation background. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a team setting. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Associate s Degree or business school diploma. Law firm experience a plus.
