E-Discovery Paralegal Responsibilities: Manage large-scale data collection and processing for multinational litigation. Develop and apply technical strategies, requirements, and goals in order to develop and implement e-discovery plan, including data collection, processing, document production and trial support. Work with the team to analyze policies and procedures to continuously improve program's efficiency and effectiveness. Serve as liaison between attorneys and vendors in order to prepare, process, review, and track electronic documents for litigation holds. Create and follow a project workflow for the firm s litigation cases. Develop cost estimates and find cost-efficient methods to manage the firm s e-discovery. Help select and manage outside vendors working on e-discovery projects and ensure quality standards are being met. Requirements: Paralegal Certificate is necessary. 3-5 years of experience managing e-discovery in a law firm. Experience from pre-litigation through trial. Familiarity with e-discovery software platforms such as Summation, Concordance, Relativity, etc.; an understanding of information security, network architecture, general database concepts, document management, hardware and software troubleshooting, and electronic mail systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
