Paralegal (Regulatory) The candidate will be responsible to manage all aspects of large scale within the Securities and Derivatives Enforcement and Regulatory group. Mainly responsible for all of cite checking assignments for the Securities and Derivatives Enforcement and Regulatory group. Manage electronic and hard copy documents through litigation technology. Supervise project assistants and temporary staff. Legal and factual cite checking including the ability to shepardize and Blue Book a brief. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and must be proficient at Microsoft Office applications. 5 to 10 years of paralegal experience at a medium or large law firm is necessary. Experience working in securities/regulatory practice is essential. Paralegal certificate is needed. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are must. Strong research skills are needed. Experience with proof reading is necessary. Thorough understanding of court rules and filing requirements is necessary. Knowledge of Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw and internet search engines for research purposes is needed. Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, CFTC and N4SE is essential.
