Paralegal - Patent Prosecution Responsibilities: Coordinating filing new applications. Analyzing USPTO and foreign counsel correspondence. Tracking due dates via matter management and docketing systems. Proactively preparing client reporting s and prosecution documents. Communicating with USPTO, attorneys, paralegals, liaisons, foreign associates, staff and clients regarding prosecution matters.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification is desirable. 5-10 years working with intellectual property and patent prosecution. 2+ years of law firm experience. Trademark prosecution experience a plus. Strong attention to detail and expertise working with an extensive patent prosecution docket. Exceptional client service focus. A commitment to being part of a great team. Ability to work independently and to prioritize and multi-task to complete projects effectively and efficiently. Outstanding communication (oral & written) and organization skills.
