Pre-Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist with cases after intake and before filing suit. Will manage, organize, and maintain client files. Communicate promptly with clients regarding the status of medical treatment and cases. Communicate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Request, organize, and summarize medical records and bills. Communicate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Prepare medical chronologies and medical expense itemizations. Review damage information and calculate damages. Prepare demand letters, settlement proposals, and settlement statements. Investigate and gather information regarding the case. Identify medical bill balances and health care liens.
