Typing 65+ wpm. Proficiency with state and federal court rules and procedures. Must have a solid understanding of technical legal terminology as well as court and agency filings. Experienced with trial preparation and briefs. Punctual with excellent attendance. Proficient with federal court ECF filings, state court electronic and manual filings, and government agency filings. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent proofreading skills. Sound judgment and strong sense of professionalism and confidentially. Ability to multi-task, and timely respond to deadlines as well as balance and prioritize workload. Knowledge of recent Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in advanced WORD functions required. Knowledge of NetDocs or similar document management system a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in cooperative, small office environment and communicate with attorneys and support staff on every level.
