Paralegal Candidate will primarily involve support for employment and personal injury attorneys, as well as business and real estate litigation. Review and evaluate medical records and billings. Draft demand letters. Compile, analyze, and summarize data. Communicate with clients and insurers. Assist in discovery, including drafting responses to discovery requests. Assist in all phases of trial preparation, including preparing and organizing exhibits. Manage cases from start to finish. Interact with clients on a regular basis. Prepare, index and manage documents, in hard copy or electronic formats. Redact documents. Conduct witness interviews. Bates numbering of records. Legal research. Provide trial support including logistical and technological support. Billing, timekeeping, and processing client payments. Candidate must have completed an accredited paralegal program and have 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience. Should have significant experience with all phases of a litigation practice. Pivotal offers a fast-paced but collegial and relaxed environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe and Word. Self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced litigation environment.
