Salary The salary for this role is commensurate with experience. Summary We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Privacy and Cybersecurity practice area team at our law firm. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring an independent self-starter who is motivated by flawless execution and enjoys solving complex problems. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills, be able to build relationships and trust with key stakeholders and partners, have the ability to prioritize and problem solve, and demonstrate sound judgment while upholding the highest standards of integrity. The salary for this role is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: Provide coordination and operational support to assigned lawyers in the Privacy and Cybersecurity practice area team. Ensure lawyers time is aligned with their priorities. Communicate with and build/maintain relationships with key clients. Maintain Outlook inboxes and review incoming communications. Handle and screen all incoming communications. Provide complex and dynamic scheduling and calendar support. Advance preparation for all commitments and engagements. Facilitate work with the Accounting Department. Monitor Practice Area Team expenditures for budgeting purposes. Coordinate US & Foreign travel arrangements. Qualifications: 5+ years of related work experience and/or training. Proficient in MS Office applications. Degree from an accredited college or university (preferred). Global Law Firm or Capitol Hill Experience (preferred). Ability to type 50 WPM (preferred). High emotional intelligence (EQ). Executive presence with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Ability to anticipate needs and identify priorities. Expert communication, writing, editing, and research skills. Ability to negotiate complex business situations with sensitivity and discretion. Sound judgment and discretion. Uphold the highest standards of integrity. 5+ years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Proficient in MS Office applications; Preferred Degree from an accredited college or university, Global Law Firm or Capitol Hill Experience, Ability to type 50 WPM
