Bilingual Paralegal (Immigration) The candidate must be enthusiastic, hard-working, dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented. They must also be able to handle multiple responsibilities at once and have excellent communication skills. The candidate must be comfortable working in both English and Spanish. Further, it is crucial that candidates be comfortable working as a team. Should have a Bachelor's degree. Prior experience as an immigration paralegal is strongly preferred, but we may consider training the right person. Reliability and punctuality. Attention to detail. Ability to follow directions well. Ability to work as a team player. Ability to take initiative and to solve problems. Comfort working with people from a variety of backgrounds. Interest in working with people and an ability to make them feel respected and welcome. Interest in supporting and assisting clients as they seek resolution in their cases. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Fluency in both oral and written Spanish. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with learning new computer applications.
