Family Law Paralegal The candidate will prepare motions and pleadings for attorney review and revision including, but not limited to financial affidavits, mandatory disclosure, request for production, debt and asset lists, witness affidavits, responsive pleadings, parenting plans. Day to day interaction with clients, opposing counsel, and judge's offices. Manage paper and the electronic discovery process for all phases of discovery and trial preparation. Research, analyze and summarize case documents, materials, rules and court procedures, and expert reports. Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations and phone conferences and in-office conferences as needed. Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, depositions, and travel; recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings and file requirements. May answer phones, route calls to appropriate offices and relay messages. Assists in preparing documentation and responses for legal inquiries, litigation and court appearances. Should preferably have experience in family litigation. Must have two-year degree or higher. Must be current Florida registered paralegal designation and certification. Florida notary is required.
