Title : Intellectual Property Paralegal

Intellectual Property Paralegal The Candidate will be responsible for review, research, analyze factual information related to existing clients. Organize and maintain client matter files, including electronic databases. Assist attorneys with the preparation of briefs and memoranda, including exhibits and appendices. Cite check and shepardize briefs and memoranda including table of authorities and table of contents. Coordinate electronic document production processes with litigation attorneys. Manage and interact with vendors selected to perform work on cases. Load data and images from CD and other media sources to the Firm s systems. Deposition preparation including exhibits and outlines and deposition/trial transcript and exhibit management. Trial/hearing preparation and assistance at trial/hearings. Conduct legal research using Lexis and West Law. Search public and private databases for information. Utilize federal and state court filing systems such as PACER electronic. The candidate should have Bachelors or Associates degree with Paralegal certificate preferred and have extensive experience in state non-electronic court filing and service procedures. Must have 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in intellectual property litigation. Ability to work overtime and travel when necessary
