Business Department Paralegal The candidate will primarily report to one attorney who specializes in transactional corporate law and real estate transactions. Will be assisting the attorney with fast-paced administrative and document intensive projects and a heavy workload in the areas of corporate governance, real estate and mergers & acquisitions. Entity formation. Will be preparing first drafts of documents for attorney review. Will be assisting with preparation of form documents; Maintaining electronic and hard copy files; Legal writing and research; Management of client relationships
The candidate should have exceptional organizational and computer/word processing skills, including redlining, the ability to multitask with ease and manage several projects at one time. Must be detail oriented, team players, highly dependable, and have excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, oral, administrative and interpersonal skills. Should have a minimum of 5 years experience is required. Will business transactions of all types, including preparation of documentation related to formation of legal entities (corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships), legal entity compliance and maintenance, buy-sell agreements, business contracts and corporate and partnership dissolutions.
