Legal Assistant/Paralegal Duties: Support three lawyers, as well as the other Administrative Assistant on daily tasks that keep the office running, as well as forward-looking projects to grow the business. Daily tasks include client contact, intake, billing, and marketing. Support lawyers with document review, drafting letters, and filing and retrieving documents from electronic court systems. responsible for taking ownership over projects related to office management and growing the business, including outreach and our social media presence.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, the confidence and knowledge to synthesize information and work independently, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and should be team-oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Office suite, including Teams. Proficient in using Mac computers. Proficient in using social media platforms, including Instagram and Twitter, and some knowledge of how to use platforms such as Mailchimp and Hootsuite. Ability to provide basic technological support preferred. Familiarity with legal timekeeping systems preferred. Self-starter, proactive, extremely organized and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy. Maintain composure in high-pressure situations and a fast-paced, multiauthority environment. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage priorities effectively. Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills. Works independently, demonstrated interest in taking ownership of projects to manage them through completion.
