Legal Secretary - Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice The Candidate will be responsible for providing a high degree of administrative support and service for lawyers in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice. Duties include typing, editing, proofreading, copying, and processing client matter reports as well as time and expense reports. The position includes establishing close working relationships with assigned lawyers and secretaries in the practice in order to understand preferences, to anticipate needs, and to proactively develop efficiency gains.
The candidate should have High school diploma or equivalent. Associate and/or Bachelor's degree desirable but not required. Ability to establish effective working relationships with lawyers, clients, and others outside the Firm. Must have strong skills in Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Must have strong project management skills, ability to work independently, take initiative, multi task, and set priorities. Must possess solid proofreading skills and strong attention to detail. Must have effective communication with lawyers regarding work assignments. Must have strong service orientation and ability to work in a teaming environment.
