Intellectual Property Legal Secretary The candidate provide administrative support to the National Practice Group Chair and her team of Trademark attorneys and paralegals. The right candidate should demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative, a desire to forge powerful relationships, hone their skills and deliver excellent work to advance their career at Quarles & Brady. Provide administrative support to the National Practice Group Chair and her team of Trademark attorneys and paralegals. Play a key role in maintaining organization within a growing Intellectual Property/Trademarks team. Support attorneys and paralegals in connection with all aspects of managing a legal practice, including case management of trademark and patent matters, Assist with managing and tracking attorney docket deadlines. Participate in projects to improve processes and workflows within the legal team. Prepare, edit and finalize legal documents, client correspondence, memos and reports. Maintain and enter time charges into the billing system as needed. Update calendars, schedule meetings and conferences. 5 or more years experience as an administrative assistant are required. Possess a positive attitude, be proactive, flexible and a team player. Exceptional technical skills required including working knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Professional. Must be detail oriented, with excellent grammar and spelling skills. Skilled with use of electronic document management systems a plus. Possess strong organizational, communication and client services abilities. Ability to prioritize needs based on urgency, multi-task and work in a fast-paced team-orientated environment. Ability to work overtime, when needed. Prior experience using database software tools a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are encouraged. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. College degree a plus.
