Civil Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will provide a thorough and practical assessments and advice while advocating for the clients in and out of court throughout the entire legal process. Will draft and review pleadings, discovery and briefs. Interpret state and federal statutes, rulings and regulations related to the Firm's practice, and provide legal analysis and conclusions as appropriate. Travel to various courts in the area and effectively handle all aspects of a case's litigation life cycle. Document file activity in accordance with the Firm and client's policies and procedures. Review documents thoroughly for relevancy, accuracy and redaction, and ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Communicate with clients in a responsive manner to maintain and further develop client relationships. Develop a working knowledge and proficiency of the Firm's software, internal operations and processes, and its policies and procedures. Must be licensed, or willing to become licensed, in North Carolina. Should have 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Strong legal analysis and writing skills essential. Should preferably have experience in commercial, construction and real estate litigation.
