Family Law Paralegal The candidate work with attorneys in cases that involve child custody, child support, alimony, divorce, property division and the unique issues of military divorces. Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude. Heavy interaction with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and government officials. Must have Strong organizational skills while maintaining full caseload and tasks list. Tracking billable time accurately and entering into case management software daily. Maintain client files and status of case. Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, e-mail, correspondence, etc. Draft discovery requests, gather supporting documents and organize. Draft financial and equitable distribution affidavits. Client preparation for mediation, hearings, depositions. Prepare trial notebooks and pleadings index binders (or electronically). Prior family law experience is required.
