Personal Injury Paralegal Duties: Assist with initial case filings and coordinating service of process. Coordinate or conduct informal fact investigations, including client and witness interviews. Assist with propounding and responding to written discovery. Assist with preparing pre-trial and trial documents. Maintain litigation calendar using Abacus Law. Manage contact with clients, experts, doctors, consultants, and vendors in all assigned cases. Qualifications: Associate degree are preferred, paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program. 3+ years' experience in personal injury litigation at an active firm. Strong Oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Knowledge and understanding of California Civil Procedure and local rules. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Proficiency in case management, multi tasking and attention to detail.
