Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate will draft, edit and proofread correspondence and documents. Maintain calendar and schedule appointments. Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and conferences. Track, document and enter billable time. Initiate conflict process, draft engagement letters and submit intake documentation for processing. Initiate communication and respond to client inquiries. Process check requests, billing and expense reports. Perform general administrative tasks of filing, mailing, answering phone calls and greeting clients. Work cooperatively with assigned legal staff and section-mates. Maintain proficiency with office procedures and stay current with Firm technology. Assume additional responsibilities as requested. Should have Bachelor's degree.
