Junior Paralegal Responsibilities: The Paralegal will be responsible for managing files, working in all phases of the discovery process, and preparation of evidence for court filings. Litigation Case Management. Search and filter documents and data. Data analysis, such as analysis of time and pay records (in Excel or other format). Prepare exhibits and deposition testimony for court filings. Prepare legal documents such as subpoenas. Prepare deposition summaries, case chronologies, and production logs. Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences as well as independently while being productive and proactive. Function as key support at trial and with trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits and trial exhibit lists, preparing witness and discovery binders with exhibits; assist with demonstratives; prepare trial subpoenas, etc. Function as key support on discovery issues, including responding to document requests, document review, working in an electronic document review platform such as Relativity; redacting documents and preparing for document production; serving electronic productions via various methods, including secure file transfer protocol; and preparing deposition binders and exhibits. Enter time, and promptly submit expense reports and vendor invoices. Coordinate with attorneys in all aspects of case management. Qualifications: Must have complex litigation experience, including managing large discovery, creating and managing databases and imaging systems, preparing for trials. Must have a high-level experience with a range of litigation support applications. The candidate will possess 2+ years of Litigation Paralegal experience, a paralegal certificate is required and a Bachelor's Degree preferred. Flexibility overtime required. Additional qualifications include high proficiency in Microsoft excel, excellent analytical and organizational abilities, solid communication and management skills, strong computer abilities, creativity and initiative. Relativity experience a plus. Labor and employment litigation support experience preferred, but not required. Understanding of basic litigation deadlines, calendaring procedures, and motion/trial requirements preferred. Bachelor's Degree. ABA approved Paralegal Certificate. Computer/Software Knowledge. Must have a high-level experience with Microsoft Excel and a range of litigation support applications. Relativity experience a plus.
