Estate Planning Paralegal The candidate should have 4-7 years of estate planning, trust administration, probate or related legal experience. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem- solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and enjoyable work place. Will work directly with attorney and clients. Must be familiar with estate planning terminology, trust types, trust funding, deed recording and related administrative issues with estate planning matters. Drafting estate plan documents, overseeing trust administration and some probate administrations. Schedule client appointments and answer client questions about their matters. Consistent communication and coordinate with attorney to discuss client matters, drafting deadlines and upcoming tasks. Hands-on-role dealing with a broad array of topics and tasks ranging from sophisticated drafting to purely administrative, including monitoring client estate planning matters from intake, drafts, execution and later trust funding and trust amendments. Notary required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Should have Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent certification. Proficient with Microsoft Office and estate planning drafting and software. Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision.
