Paralegal The candidate should have 5+ years of experience. Trial experience and experience in construction defect litigation are highly desirable. Should be a highly motivated individual with excellent technical and organizational skills as well as strong interpersonal relationship skills. The candidate should be able to work independently and with a team and be proactive and resourceful. Should have knowledge of ABA billing codes and properly written entries; strong writing skills including drafting of demand letters, correspondence, written discovery, and motions; proficiency in researching case law, court records, and public records; knowledge of pre-trial and trial preparation including mandatory settlement statements, motions in Limine, and jury instructions; working knowledge of the following programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Lexis Nexis/Westlaw, Adobe Pro, Electronically Stored Information (ESI) programs such as IPro or similar; strong organizational skills including preparation of mediation and trial binders; ability to work under pressure on time-sensitive materials
