Junior Paralegal/ Records Clerk Part Time The candidate should have 2 years of previous experience drafting subpoenas and records management. Should also have experience with specialized subpoenas such as employment, insurance and pharmacy. Other job responsibilities include drafting authorizations to both counsel and providers, maintaining accurate charts to track records, drafting and filing/ serving Request for Copies, using various websites to upload/ download records and able to work with a heavy case volume with tight deadlines. Position also requires making outbound calls to records custodians/providers, to request and obtain records, and or verify business location, and or ensure invoices are paid, and document custodian contact. Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail oriented required. Ability to use various computer systems, software, and office equipment required. Ability to exercise excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing required. Drafting, filing and serving subpoenas required. Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure regarding subpoenas and HIPPA required. 2 years of experience working as a legal records clerk, paralegal or similar role for a law firm or in-house equivalent required.
