Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university is required. Must be qualified to practice as a paralegal under CA state law. Draft, review, and/or analyze routine legal documents as requested by lawyers. 8-10 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a comparable law firm or corporate legal setting is required. 4+ years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency with current Microsoft Office software suite. Thorough understanding of the civil litigation process. Utilize information systems and procedures, or establish new procedures to facilitate the organization and retrieval of documents by and for the lawyers on the case teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and excellent organizational skills. Maintain administrative records, such as attendance and PTO. Ability to work independently and under pressure and available to work overtime as required.
