Mass Torts Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have ability to work in fast-paced environment while staying calm and on-task. Excellent organization skills and unsurpassed attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience with most or all of the duties listed below: Manage all stages of litigation case files, including intake, pre-litigation, trial, and settlement. Organize and maintain medical and other case-related documents. Answer phones and screen calls, always with an eye toward efficiency and great client service. Significant client communication. Review and draft legal documents with an emphasis on clarity and precision in every one. File electronically in federal and state court. Familiar with local rules. File and serve complaints. Manage and update litigation calendars. Draft legal memos and documents, plaintiff fact sheets, and short form complaints. Prepare trial binders, prep witnesses, create PowerPoints, and prepare exhibits. Assist at trial. Provide legal assistance to multiple lawyers. Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience, and/or paralegal certification. Familiarity with digital case management preferred. At least two years of litigation experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
