Active applicants: 1 Qualified applicants: 0 Applied applicants: 0 # STL Immigration Attorney Hacking Law Practice LLC is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team in St. Louis, MO. This full-time position offers a salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. ## Job Description The Immigration Attorney will represent clients before the Immigration Courts, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Patrol, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the federal courts. Responsibilities include preparing and drafting applications/petitions for immigration benefits, advising and counseling clients on possible avenues of relief, developing factual backgrounds and legal arguments to support claims for asylum in the U.S., and researching case law, regulations & statutes to help in defending clients and asserting their rights. The ideal candidate will have a valid Bar license, experience in Analysis skills, and a Doctoral degree. ## Qualifications * Relocation to Saint Louis required with relocation assistance * Extremely detail-oriented * Ability to deal with responsibility for a large caseload * Previous experience in immigration law * Familiarity with various legal documents and criminal proceedings * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to build rapport with clients * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Active bar admission in any state, MO, DC, or CA Bar preferred * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Strong legal analysis, as well as written and oral advocacy * Responsible, self-initiating with proven ability to work independently * A demonstrated interest and passion for immigration law * An interest in working in a fast-paced and varied environment * Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate * Ability to speak a foreign language fluently is preferred ## Benefits The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year * Medical & dental, vision insurance * Paid vacation, sick & holidays * Travel and parking reimbursement * 401k/match benefits * Paid CLE and Bar dues, as well as professional development * Hands-on advocacy and case handling * Fast-paced environment * Meaningful client-centered work ## Application Process Applicants should submit a resume and answer the question Why practice Immigration Law?
