Bilingual Paralegal (Spanish) The candidate must be prepared to hit the ground running with current immigration knowledge and word processing skills. Helping draft immigration filings, collecting and organizing evidence, interviewing clients, and filing documents. Maintaining case calendars and ongoing docket of deadlines, update events as cases progress through immigration, and monitor and remind attorneys and teams of deadlines. Managing intake of new cases and maintenance of client files, including upkeep and archiving of firm and client records - set up, organize, maintain and archive electronic files. Maintaining familiarity with immigration law. Supporting general office activities and other team members as needed, including some administration, billing assistance. Fluency in English and Spanish. Experience with and/or interest in immigration law. Candidates will be compensated commensurate with experience. Strong computer skills, including the Google Suite of email and calendar, Dropbox, and Word (ideally also Excel), Clio - CRM platform. Paralegal certificate or a degree from an accredited college is preferred. Flexibility in terms of willingness and ability to perform a variety of tasks as needed. Self-starter who takes pride of ownership in projects and is willing to learn from others. 1 Year of immigration experience is required.
