Legal Secretary The candidate will provide administrative support to two or more attorneys. Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. Drafts and revises legal documents and correspondence. Assists the attorneys by reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents; collecting and analyzing information; coordinating preparation of charts, graphs, and other necessary visuals. Initiates telecommunications; organizing client conferences, and attorney meetings. Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel. Assists in tracking deadlines for court filings. Represents attorney by communicating and obtaining information; following-up on delegated assignments. Generates revenue by documenting and inputting attorney billable time and reimbursable expenses; preparing invoices; tracking payments. Prepares binders of legal documents; updates database of client data. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Must have 2+ years of previous related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented essential. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
