Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for administrative case management and litigation support. Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents. Filing legal documents (e-filling skills are preferred). Corresponding with clients. Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments. Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court. Prepare privilege logs. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.). Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties. Provide assistance with case settlements. Prepare exhibits to motions. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Educational and Experience Requirements: High School diploma. Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification preferred. Prior litigation experience required.
