IP Trademark Paralegal The candidate will assist the team with trademark enforcement, trademark disputes and copyright prosecution. will also assist with the clearance and prosecution of U.S. and foreign trademarks on behalf of the firm's clients, manage domestic and foreign trademarks, and assist in investigations relating to trademarks. Must have extensive experience in trademark prosecution and trademark portfolio management, including managing docket deadlines, coordinating domestic and foreign trademark filings and registrations, supporting enforcement matters, investigating possible infringements, conducting domain name registration and maintenance, conducting trademark clearance searches using Saegis/Serion, and reviewing watch notices and other policing of trademarks. Experience with CPi Trademark Management system required and knowledge of Madrid Protocol and TTAB filings a plus. Minimum of three years of trademark prosecution paralegal experience at a top law firm, Bachelor's degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, Demonstrated interest and background in intellectual property law, branding and online content, In-depth knowledge and experience with USPTO filings for trademark applications/registrations. Experience using trademark docketing software systems, including CPi Trademark Management, Experience coordinating domestic and foreign filings, Experience with trademark filings via the Madrid Protocol is a plus, Domain name registration and maintenance, Experience with TTAB filings, Experience conducting trademark clearance searches using Saegis/Serion a plus, Screening watch notices and other policing of trademarks a plus, Excellent organizational skills, research skills and proofreading skills; highly detail oriented, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter and driven attitude. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with attorneys, other paralegals and staff.
