Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for: preparing legal documents, such as Summons/Petition, RFOs/Motions, declarations, discovery, subpoenas, Judgments, correspondence, etc., for attorney's approval; proofreading; filing with the court; overseeing cases by managing files and documents; coordinating with attorney and clients, opposing law firms, and courts; maintaining schedules and deadlines; and assisting with answering phones, faxing, scanning, copying, processing incoming mail and emails, processing outgoing mail and emails, scheduling appointments, calendaring events, court filing, data entry, drafting retainer agreements. High school or equivalent is required. Must have 2 years of experience. Should be proficient in MS Word, WordPerfect, Legal Solutions, Dissomaster, and Excel. Typing speed of 60+ wpm is essential.
