Associate Attorney (Litigation) The candidate duties include: court appearances, legal research, legal drafting, law and motion preparation, trial preparation, and other case related assignment duties. Requires a strong communicator (written/ verbal skills). Responsibilities: Court Appearances: trial/ pre-trial hearings/ law & motion; Law & Motion drafting; legal and factual research; organize and analyze case information; Research and identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, codes and case law; Prepare and draft legal documents (briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, applications, legal forms, correspondence, declarations, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal memoranda); Trial preparation (witness lists, exhibits, pre-trial motions, trial binders, witness interviews). Must possess 1 year experience with a background in litigation. [CA Bar admissions required]. Requires knowledge of state and federal procedures and court rules. Must have Doctorate degree. Required license or certification: CA State Bar.
