Estate/Trust Administration Paralegal Duties: Provide support primarily in the estate/trust administration practice. Process incoming and outgoing mail; Draft electronic and written correspondence; File documents with Clerk of Court, Secretary of State and Register of Deeds. Open, maintain and close client files (electronic and hard files). Create and maintain contacts and matters in CRM system. Document tasks and client interaction in CRM & billing systems. Review trusts, wills, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents. Prepare and file probate forms, applications, inventories, accountings, renunciations, schedules, petitions and orders. Prepare trust administration documents, obtain federal EINs, trust accountings, deeds, etc. Assist clients with necessary financial forms in the estate/trust administration process Assist clients with gathering and managing assets, paying debts and creditors, etc. Assist with estate planning clients and general office administrative duties as needed. Attend work regularly, be punctual and meet deadlines. Work under the direct attorney supervision as a team with a high level of communication and interdependence, but also take ownership of workflow and assigned projects and work independently to accomplish tasks in an efficient manner. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree from four-year college/university, or paralegal certificate from ABA approved program. 2+ years experience with estate/trust administration practice required Notary Public Required (or to be obtained upon hire). Will have experience handling both probate and trust administration matters, be invested in the Firm s growth, and will be very detail oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with composure, confidence, and accuracy, especially when Firm clients are involved. Meticulous attention to detail, high level of organization, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Professional and friendly interaction with clients via phone, email and in person. A strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
