Litigation Paralegal The candidate will perform high-quality billable work and have expertise in assisting attorneys through all phases of litigation. Must have a college degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or experience equivalent. Should have 3+ years of experience in the areas of commercial litigation, general tort, insurance defense, and premises liability. Healthcare litigation experience is a plus. Must have experience reviewing and summarizing medical and other related records, summarizing depositions, as well as strong document management experience. Knowledge and experience with drafting discovery and subpoenas are a must. Should have pre-trial and trial experience. Should be highly skilled and proactive. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Should have electronic document management experience. Must possess knowledge of state and federal court rules, as well as working knowledge of eFiling.
