Bilingual Legal Secretary The candidate will answer the phone, take messages, and assist clients and potential clients with scheduling appointments. Will greet visitors, maintain and monitor the visitor waiting area i.e., helping clients locate the bathroom, parking, etc. Provide support to attorneys as needed re: opening files, discrete casework tasks, and client communication. Assist with sorting, distributing, and processing of daily mail. Draft client correspondence and occasional legal document. Maintain office calendars and docketing events and deadlines. Record client payments in Quickbooks. Create electronic and physical files for new clients. Stock office supplies. The candidate should preferably have a High school diploma / GED degree and Bachelor's degree. Should preferably have 1 year of Customer Service experience and MS Office experience. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) is required. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfort with and desire to work in a diverse and professional office environment (colleagues and clients) is required. Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize.
