Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist the two Partners of the Firm with Plaintiff Side Personal Injury and Domestic Relations Cases. Conduct research. Maintain attorney's trial calendar (motion dates, hearings, depositions, travel, filing dates, deadlines, discovery dates, etc. ). Manage stages of a personal injury claim, including intake, demands, discovery, medical records,bills, damage charts, settlement memorandum, basic pleadings, initial filings, etc. Make initial filings in domestic matters. E-filing. Communication and scheduling with various courts and opposing counsel. Assist attorneys in preparation of depositions, trials, mediation, and appeals. Should have 2+ years of paralegal experience. Must be proactive. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have excellent organizational skills. Must have attention to detail and be self motivated.
