Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate will be primarily estate planning and litigation attorneys. Responsibilities include preparing and proofreading legal documents; efiling documents with the courts; handling correspondence, memos and reports; billing; calendaring; answering phone calls; filing; copying; scanning; file preparation and indexing; and related tasks. Should have 1+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal secretary. Familiarity with legal documents and terminology. Proficiency with recent versions of Adobe, Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Timeslips would be helpful. Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines. Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor. Superior written and oral communication skills. Notary public is a plus.
