Legal Secretary Duties: Maintaining attorney calendars and to do items. Preparing pleadings and discovery. Preparing correspondence. Meeting with clients and witnesses. Scheduling and budgeting. Manage and prioritize workload quickly and accurately. Communication with clients, court personnel, court reporters, experts, witnesses, opposing counsel, etc. Qualifications: Scrupulous attention to detail. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong work-ethic, positive attitude, and self-motivated. Must have 4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Paralegal in litigation and business law. Extremely organized and professional. Proficient in Microsoft Office/Word. Demonstrates an eagerness to learn. Able to follow office procedures. General knowledge of local rules and court procedures. Computer literate and willing to learn new computer programs and adapt to technology.
