Associates are allowed to choose the practice areas and specific assignments that interest them, and they will be challenged with responsibility and client contact.
Business Law Legal Secretary The candidate will support attorneys in connection with all aspects of client relationships and business development. Assist attorneys in preparing, proofreading, revising and finalizing legal documents. File with the IRS and state regulatory bodies. Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents and reports. Submit intake and conflict checks, process time entry and client billing. Maintain attorney's calendars, schedule travel, appointments, meetings and conferences. Other duties as assigned. The candidate should preferably have 2-5 years of law experience. Should have possessed a positive attitude, be proactive, flexible and a team player. Should have strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional. Should be skilled with the use of electronic document management systems. Should have possessed strong organizational, communication and client services abilities. Should be detail-oriented with excellent grammar and spelling skills. Should have the ability to prioritize needs based on urgency, multi-task and work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Aderant and FileSite experience is a plus.
