Legal Secretary The candidate Should have 3+ years of transactional experience to support a busy practice. Must be proactive and have strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to use good judgment in handling administrative tasks in a timely manner. Attention to detail, solid computer proficiencies, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and problem solve is required. Responsibilities include complex editing, redlining, and formatting of various legal documents, letters, spreadsheets and presentations. Additionally, candidate may be requested to research and obtain information, facilitate the completion of various forms and processes, and other administrative tasks, such as calendaring, assisting with time entry, making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports. Litigation experience a plus. Candidate must have proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, document compare software, superior proof reading ability, and type a minimum of 65 words per minute with high accuracy.
