Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Answer a multi-line phone and complete new client intakes; Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts in a professional and proficient manner; Day-to-day case management duties; Assisting with the preparation, filing, and service of pleadings, including Complaints, Motions, and Briefs; Request and obtain medical records; Draft correspondence, demand packages, and pleadings; Coordinating the collection, review, and production of documents and responding to discovery requests, including Interrogatories, Requests for Production of Documents, Requests for Admissions, etc; Assist with trial preparation. Excellent technology and computer skills required. Excellent organization skills required. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal certificate, from an ABA-accredited program preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience required. 2-3 years experience as a civil litigation paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm setting, preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) required. Proficiency with various software programs: Office 365, Sharepoint, Pacer, Adobe, and Westlaw, preferred. Experience in the following states is preferred, but not required: Pennsylvania, California, New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
