Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Duties: Run closings from start to finish and have knowledge of title insurance commitments and surveys for commercial real estate closings, reviewing title exceptions, assisting with the preparation of due diligence items, reviewing due diligence checklist and loan documents, research of UCC filings and corporate documents, preparing loan packages for clients, preparing/drafting loan document transcripts for all parties, preparing/drafting recordable documents for filing, general internet research, completing general post-closing items, and overall support to the commercial real estate groups.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Florida Registered Paralegal preferred. Experienced real estate paralegal with 2-5 years preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and aptitude for quickly learning various other programs. Excellent communication skills written and oral. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Problem-solving, analytical and research skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously and willingness to work extra hours as needed. Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude. Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
